[va-bird] swallows on the move

Right on schedule, the barns swallows and bank swallows (and some trees and
roughs) are amassing in the 100's again on the powerlines at the Refuge
office. They started doing this about July 15. Their numbers build over a
few days and when it gets to about 400 or so, they depart, and then it
starts all over again. They repeat this a few times until one day they're
just completely gone. But where do they sleep in the meantime?
Still singing, somewhat, are wood thrush, summer tanagers, indigo buntings,
white-eyed vireos, wood peewees, acadian flycatchers.
Down to just one dickcissel now.
