Hola,
Bob Abrams was in the neighborhood today, so I joined him for a spell out in
Remington around lunch time. The Upland Sandpipers were all in the plowed
field on the south side of Grassdale Road, a bit south of the Woodward Turf
Farm, about ten of them. With them were three gorgeous Buff-breasted
Sandpipers. Mostly they spent time walking in the lowest part of the field
near the
grassy strip that remains, but a few times they were up the slope a bit, and
they also flew a few laps. There were also about 100 Killdeer and a couple
dozen Horned Larks in the same field.
Cheers,
Todd
