[va-bird] Swamp Sparrows and the VSO Foray

I just wanted to add an important point to Jim Goehring's message regarding the
FLS Swamp Sparrow story. Fred Atwood discovered this population as a
participant in the 2004 Virginia Society of Ornithology's Breeding Bird Foray
on the Northern Neck. This is a prime example of the important role that the
VSO Foray plays in the documentation and conservation of Virginia's birds!
Thanks again to the sharp-eyed (and eared!) participants of previous
years...and stay tuned for information about next year's Northern Saw-whet Owl
Foray.
