[va-bird] How long till suet spoils?

I'm slowly building up my back yard feeders and added a suet feeder with
a tail support (in hopes of a pileated woodpecker) the other day. So
far, none of the lil critters have touched the stuff yet. How long can
it stay out before it 'goes bad'?
