The following were at Hunting Creek as the tide began to inundate the
available mudflats and shallows (~ 11:30 a.m., 8/6):
Great Egret ? 5
Snowy Egret ? 2
Semipalmated Plover ? 2
Killdeer
Greater Yellowlegs ? 6
Lesser Yellowlegs ? 13
Semipalmated Sandpiper ? 6
Least Sandpiper ? 12
Laughing Gull ? 15
Ring-billed Gull ~ 200
Herring Gull
Great Black-backed Gull ? 3
Caspian Tern ? 2
Forster?s Tern ? 5
