[va-bird] N. Bobwhite, Canada Warbler, Dyke Marsh, 8/18/03

While looking for the Gray Catbird that was meowing at me this morning, I
spotted a Canada Warbler instead. Another pleasant surprise was the sight of a
female N. Bobwhite walking out from the vegetation along one of the short paths
off the Dog Leg leading to the Little Gut. She quickly scooted back under
cover when she saw me.
