[va-bird] Gull-billed Tern at Craney Island, Portsmouth

VA Birders,
I made a quick trip down to Craney Island on Wednesday, Aug. 6. I
arrived in the afternoon, and after signing in, I had a lovely adult
Gull-billed
Tern, still in breeding plumage, fly across in front of me just after I turned
left and started down the road from the office. My other highlights were a
skimming Black Skimmer, and a Pectoral Sandpiper feeding on the grassy slope
with
some Killdeer. I couldn' t find the Am. Avocets reportedly there previously.
