VA Birders,
21 species of birds were in my yard today. In addition to the Cardinals,
Chickadees, Nuthatches, Bluebirds, House Finches, Goldfinches, Brown
Thrashers, Catbirds and others, a male Hooded Warbler was seen flitting his
tail in the shrubs near the side yard pond. A female Black-and White Warbler
was busy working a locust tree at the edge of the backyard, and a small
flock of Cedar Waxwings were coming in for the wild cherries.
Enjoy the birds,
Roger Mayhorn
