[va-bird] The Cameron Run Experience, 8/11

Lisa and I went to Hunting Creek this morning for a few minutes around 8 am.
The most interesting species was Stilt Sandpiper (one bird). The flats
west of the stone bridge were already covered.
Hopeful, we then went to Cameron Run. By the time we had to return to
Maryland/DC at 10:30 we had seen one juvenile Little Blue Heron, one
White-rumped Sandpiper, the hybrid goose from yesterday, at least three
Short-billed Dowitchers, and one Cloudless Sulphur among the commoner
species. Some 8 Semipalmated Plovers were a species we didn't see
yesterday.
