[va-bird] Swallow-Tailed Kite at Marriott Ranch

The Swallow-Tailed Kite was at Marriott Ranch this morning, Saturday August 10,
2002. It arrived at about 9:45 am flying over the fields and around the trees.
It then soared over the trees with a group of Turkey Vultures, high up and over
our heads. There was a group of twenty people or so and we all got great looks
for at least fifteen minutes before I had to leave. It really is an amazingly
beautiful and graceful bird. It's colors are striking: gray and white on top
and black and white underneath. It is definitely worth the trip to see this
tremendous bird.
