[va-bird] Hunting Creek Wilsons Phalarope

Today, between 12 and about 1:30 pm there was a Wilson's Phalarope at the
right end of the mudflat at Hunting Creek. The bird is very pale, in winter
plummage, and was often doing the "Wilson's whirling 360" spinning to stir
up some food.
Lots of sandpipers are in, including Spotted, Least, Semipalm, Pectoral,
both Yellowlegs, Western, White-rumped, SB Dowitcher, and Killdeer and
Semipalmated Plovers.
Later,
Bob Beard
