VA Birders,
This morning I had a few more new visitors to the backyard. I'm not sure
they are migrants yet, but they are showing up around my home where they
haven't been recently. The first bird to catch my eye was a brilliantly
colored male Baltimore Oriole. These birds pass through but are not common
in this immediate area. That's the second one within a few days. Also seen
were two Black-throated Green Warblers, a Black-and-white Warbler, a female
American Redstart, a Yellow-throated Warbler and a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.
