[va-bird] Swallow-tailed kite at Marriott Ranch: Yes, 08/09

Against the beautiful backdrop of the Blue Ridge, the swallow-tailed kite was
still present and active today (Friday, 08/09) through at least 1:30 PM.
When I arrived at 12:15, the kite was actually perched at some distance but
clearly visible even with binoculars, better with scope. The rest of the time
it dipped, circled, hunted, dove and provoked "ahhh's" with subtle skilled
mid-air maneuvers.
The directions (posted by Val Kitchens the other day) are fine and the
property is a beautiful one. At least a few pictures that were taken (not by
me) at close enough range to be good!
