Just to add a short update, I watched the bird from 4:30-4:45. When I got to
the business office, I checked inside to be sure it was
OK to park in front.
Right then, I looked out across the valley to the west and the bird was flying
right up to me. While there, it spent most of the
time directly overhead, but also went cruising toward the west. It probably
stayed around, but I had to leave. How disappointing,
that I had to spend one whole minute there before the bird appeared!
Beautiful bird - beautiful spot!!
