[va-bird] Swallow-tailed Kite seen this morning, 8/08/02

Hello~
I just received a call from Todd Day asking me to report to the list that
the Swallow-tailed Kite is present at the Marriot Ranch in Fauquier County
this morning. After arriving at 7:30am, Todd, Sue Heath and Mike Stinson had
the bird make it's first appearance at around 9 am.
Directions to the ranch were posted to Va-bird last evening (8/07) by Val
Kitchens. The property owner is open to visitors wishing to see the bird.
What a great opportunity to see and outstanding bird in Virginia.
