Hi List,
I agree. About two months ago a close lightning strike fried my DSL
modum. It was just a pain to get it replaced and to go back to the single
phone line method. Now if I leave the house in the morning and there is a
storm predicted, or if I hear thunder, I unplug the phone jack into the modum
and pull the power out of it as well. It takes less than five seconds.
