[va-bird] Cardinal ears

Fellow Birders,
I had no idea cardinals had  such big ears. They're all molting like crazy 
right now after taking a picture of a particularly ratty female, her ear was 
plainly visible. Who knew they were that big? Very interesting..

Also, we were able to see the Ibis that Arun Bose reported on Sunday. It was 
exactly where he said it would be.. Crewes pond. In there with a bunch of 
Egrets and Herons. Must be a miixed-up fellow, traveling in such company.
