[va-bird] The Wood Thrush

Hello Fellow Birders..
I was just outside doing some late watering, since the promise of rain never
materialized. I was as always, treated to a magnificent concert of several
Wood Thrushes that was on a par with the flautists of the Boston Symphony. I
stood near the barn for at least 15 minutes enjoying the melodious voices of
birds I rarely see. I never did see one of these marvelous musicians this
evening, but I certainly did enjoy the concert. I wish all of you had the
opportunity to hear what I heard. It was so great, I just had to tell
someone :)
Of course there will be a repeat of this concert every night until they
leave in the fall, so we will all have lots of chances to enjoy their
beautiful voices.
They begin the performance around 6:30 pm. Be sure to tune in :)
