[va-bird] Shorebirds at Huntley Meadows

Hello VA-Birders,
I stopped by Huntley Meadows (Fairfax County) today to see if the Fall
shorebird season has begun. Nothing special, but things are starting. In
evidence were the following:
Killdeer 4
Solitary Sandpiper 1
Least Sandpiper 7
Semipalmated Sandpiper 1
I haven't seen many reports from the Virginia coast, but I imagine things are
starting to heat up. In Florida this week (Honeymoon Island causeway) there
were many Dowitchers (mostly SB including henersoni with one LB), a Stilt
Sandpiper, Ruddy Turnstones, along with the summer residents there. What's
going on Tidewater folks?
