Birders,

I snuck out of the Mason Neck SP Visitor Center late this morning to grab 
about an hour of birding before it got too hot.  I saw and/or heard many of 
the usual suspects, highlights including INDIGO BUNTING, a pair of PURPLE 
MARTINS, and an EASTERN KINGBIRD.  Full list follows.

MNSP has a guided bird walk this Saturday, July 15, from 9 to 11am.  We meet 
at the Visitor Center and then take the Bay View Trail, about one mile long. 
 All are welcome and no reservations are necessary.  Any questions may be 
addressed to me at the address below.
