[va-bird] off topic stuff

Paul, I like the idea of listing something as "off topic" if it is not strictly
about birds but can affect birders, such as lyme disease. This has been a bad
year for being infested with ticks of all sizes, including the tiny deer ticks,
& my husband had to be tested for disease recently for that very reason.
