We birded Burke's Garden in Tazewell County yesterday. Had about 40 species.
Highlights were great blue herons, lots of tree and barn swallows, vesper
sparrow and 5 red-headed woodpeckers in four different locations. Also, had an
American bittern flying along a creek beside Rt. 61 between Tazewell and the
garden.
