Hiked Old Rag Mountain yesterday (7/9) and was
rewarded when we got to the summit by a pair of
Peregrine Falcons. They went through a lot of
maneuvers for about 30 minutes while harassing Ravens
and Vultures. It was pretty neat being able to look
down on them. I also noticed that the white patches on
Black Vulture's wings is very pronounced when you are
looking down on them. I heard at least six different
Hooded Warblers on the way up and several more when
going down the backside of the mountain.
