[va-bird] W&OD Trail, Vienna VA

Hello VA-Birders,
The W&OD Trail, mileposts 12 to 14 leading away from the center of Vienna VA
traverses an unusual habitat for Fairfax County. It is a swath of brush
periodically cut for the powerline right-of-way, and has a walking/horse
trail next to the speeding bikers on the paved trail. Good for a
bird/exercise walk, but watch for the stray tick.
Many singing Indigo Bunting, C. Yellowthroat, and Acadian Flycather were
there this morning. Probably a good candidate for a Bluebird box trail for
an energetic Vienna resident.
