Yesterday, we floated the canoe on New River from Rich Creek to Glen Lyn, Giles
County. We saw lots of turkey & black vultures coming off the roost, 2
double-crested cormorants, green herons, great blue heron, kingfisher,
Baltimore oriole, warbling vireo, red-eyed vireo, yellow-throated warbler and a
couple yellow-billed cuckoos.
