[va-bird] new birder in VA

VA Birders-
My wife and I recently moved to Gloucester Co., VA (Hayes) to begin
school at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. I have been birding
avidly, if not amateurly, for over a year now. Just finished a honeymoon
whirlwind trip out west through Utah, Oregon, and Calif. that netted a new
67 birds for me (124 total on trip)! Looking forward to seeing some new
birds here in the piedmont/coastal plain of VA - any advice on hotspots is
appreciated.
