[va-bird] Folly Lick Stream Park - Cooper's Hawks

Back in early may I posted a note about a Cooper's Hawk nest in Folly Lick Stream Park (a Fairfax County park about a half mile from my house)

I was down for an afternoon walk, and the nesting has been succesful. I saw two baby birds in the nest.

Looks like they may be getting close to being ready to leave the nest. One of them was nice enough to spread it's wings for me.

An adult bird was perched on a tree right next to the nest watching over the two youngsters.
