Birders,
I got out to C.F. Phelps WMA, Fauquier Co., Sunday morning from 5:30 to 7:00
am. This was my first time to this WMA and it wont? be my last. I didn?t
have a lot of time, but I was very happy to find lots of good birds,
including Chats, Ovenbirds, and Prairie Warblers all over the place. I drove
into to central area with the pond and walked about a bit. I tried to look
for the ?Waterfowl Impoundment? area but ran out of time. If anyone could
share with me where they like to go at Phelps, I would appreciate it!
