[va-bird] Mad Mama Swallow

I got out of my car at home a little while ago
and was gathering my things when a barn swallow
began dive bombing me. Again and again she
swooped within inches of my head. I started
putting up a hand as she would approach, and
she'd veer up, but then she'd make another pass.
I decided there must be babies in the nests in my
shed, though I hadn't actually seen any up until
now. When I stepped in I saw them...three nests
full of little heads and a fledgling perched on
one of the rafters!
As soon as I stepped back outside, Mad Mama was
incoming. I retreated to my front porch...
