[va-bird] First Landing 6/2:two birds

Howdy all,
Well, today was pretty bleak. Only banded two birds: a RED-WINGED BLACKBIRD
and a baby PINE WARBLER. It was so much excitement, that we have decided to
treat ourselves with a day off tomorrow. Of course there is a 70% chance of
rain
tomorrow anyway. We are going to head to the Eastern Shore and have fun with a
few friends there and not have to worry about being back over on this side by
early tomorrow morning.
So read into that, I will be throwing a few back tonight, I don't want to
drive after that, and we are not going to be at the banding station tomorrow.
Of
course, I will be back at the station Sunday hoping that a huge change in the
bird numbers has occurred during our one day absence!!
