Thanks for all the messages I received offering advice to ensure the
bluebirds would lay eggs and hatch them.

Yesterday my wife and I noticed very loud peeps coming from under our
deck and we spent some time watching the house this morning.  The eggs
did hatch and it appears we have a family in there.

And yes, we do realize the house isn't considered "functional".  In
all honesty we *never* expected anything to build a nest in it.  It
was just one of those fun purchases my wife made while out shopping
one day and I hung it up to humor her <g>.  When the juveniles leave
the nest we plan on replacing the current box with one we don't have
to remove from the post when we want to look inside or clean it out.

Thanks again for the advice.  It was appreciated and obviously helped.
