Hello all,
We did the first part of our Fairfax Audubon Society bird survey at Riverbend
Park this morning.
The highlights were seeing a YELLOW-billed CUCKOO down river from the visitor
center and a male PROTHONOTARY Warbler up river from the visitor center.
Also, we were astounded at the numbers of WHITE-breasted NUTHATCHES we
heard/saw while doing eight points, most of which were along the river.
Riverbend Park is in Fairfax County, VA and borders the Potomac River.
