The regular (every 2nd Sat.) monthly bird walk at the Banshee Reeks Nature 
Preserve in central Loudoun County will occur on Sat., June 12, meeting at 8:00 
am at the Visitor Center/Manor House.  Everyone is welcome at these bird walks 
which are sponsored by the Friends of Banshee Reeks (www.bansheereeks.org) and 
the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy (www.loudounwildlife.org).

BUTTERFLIES AND DRAGONFLIES AT BANSHEE â?? Saturday, June 19, 10:00 a.m. to 
12:00 noon.  Join the Friends of Banshee Reeks and the Loudoun Wildlife 
Conservancy for one of our free, summer butterfly and dragonfly walks.  Join 
Nicole Hamilton and Lee Stang as they investigate some of Bansheeâ??s many 
diverse natural areas and identify all of the butterflies and dragonflies we 
can find.  If you own binoculars, please bring them.  For information call the

SUNDAY IN THE PRESERVE â?? Sunday, June 20, 2:00 p.m.  Join Cliff Fairweather, 
Chief Naturalist and Manager of the ANS Rust Nature Sanctuary for an informal, 
family walk around Banshee Reeks Preserve, searching for the many natural 
wonders that make this such a special place.  For information call the Friends
