At noon today, I ran from the W&OD Trail in Reston to Rt 7 via the
mountain bike trail through Lake Fairfax Park and beyond.
There were significantly more birds singing than there have been for
the past two weeks. Are many others hearing yb flycatchers? I recall one
other observation in last 4-5 days.

Highlights included:

Acadian flycatcher
Yellow-bellied flycatcher- three different males singing; one at same
location where least sang last year at this time
Eastern wood-pewee
Tree swallow-- young out of nest flying
Barn swallow
Wood thrush
Prairie warbler
Pine warbler
Ovenbird
Scarlet tanager
