I spent several hours at the Whitehurst Tact of the Princess Anne WMA in
Virginia Beach Sunday morning. There was a single male Red Headed Duck on one
of the ponds, What is he doing here? I saw 3 male & 2 female Wood Ducks, One
of the females had 6, at most 2 week old, youngns with her. There were good
looks at Great Blue & Little Blue Herons, Great & Snowy Egrets & Yellowlegs.
Chats, Blue Grosbeaks, Brown Headed Nuthacthes & Eastern Kingbirds were some of
the birds seen, It was a good morning.
