Va Birders,
Yesterday, on the listserv, I asked if it might not be possible to have
Northern Waterthrushes breeding in Prince William Forest. I was birding in PWF
and picked up several Louisiana. along with what I thought may have been some
Northern waterthrush as well. I asked people interested in commenting on this
to contact me directly, and I did get some mail re my inquiry. The consensus is
that the birds I had were most likely recently fledged Louisiana. This makes
sense to me, and thank you, if you were one of the people who took the time to
respond to me. I appreciate the help.
