On Friday morning, June 6, Sharon Lynn and I saw two pairs of Spotted
Sandpipers at Dyke Marsh. Not late date record setters, but the "safe
date" for breeding is June 10 for this species. If these birds are
going to breed this season, they had better get a move on, unless they
are already where they plan to stay to raise their families. If so, we
would be more than happy to have them!
