Hello all, 
This is an invitation to join the new Hi Mountain Condor Lookout Project
e-mail listserve. 'Thank-you' to Judy Sullivan for setting up the
listserve. 

The Hi Mountain Project is a cooperative venture between Morro Coast
Audubon Society, U.S. Forest Service (Los Padres National Forest), and
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (California Condor Recovery Program). Hi
Mountain Lookout, located at 3,100 ft.elevation on the summit of the
Santa Lucia Mountains in SLOCO, will operate as a research and visitor
center. 

Futher postings on this listserve will provide information and
announcements about volunteer training and work days, field trips,
condor radio tracking results and other natural history observations
from the Hi Mountain area. The Huff's Hole cliffs, in the Santa Lucia
Wilderness Area below Hi Mountain fire lookout, are a historic peregrine
falcon and condor nesting area.
