I birded my local neighborhood stream-valley park, Foxstone or Waverly Park,
Vienna, VA, this morning from 5:45 to 7:30 as part of the Fairfax County
Spring Count. I found a number of goodies including Baltimore Orioles,
Scarlet Tanagers, Woodthrush and a number of warblers. The highlight was my
life Northern Waterthrush!!! It was singing away perched on a low branch and
I got great looks at it: very cool!!
