[va-bird] Cape May Warbler, Chantilly, 01 May

Sorry for the late post. I believe I saw a Cape May Warbler in the
woods next to the stream, next to the Sully Police Station in Chantilly,
Tuesday morning at 11 AM. The closest comparable bird (alternate ID)
was a Blackburnian. What I saw on this bird was a round orange spot on
each side of the head, distinct from the surrounding yellow, and a
single dark line running through the eye. Also a dark cap, and mixed
white wing bars, not a solid white "panel". Also, the black streaks
(barely) came together in the middle of the chest. According to my
field guides, these all indicate a Cape May.
Other birds there at the same time included Palm and Yellow-Rumped,
Eastern Phoebe, Gnatcatchers, and normal resident species.
I wouldn't bother reporting this but I have not noticed other reports of
Cape Mays recently. Was this an unusual sighting?
