[va-bird] Kentucky warbler in White Oaks
- From: "Pam Koger-Jesup and Ben Jesup" <breep@xxxxxxx>

It was a great morning at White Oaks, including 10 other species of warbler
as well.
Ovenbird 5
BTB 4 (including a female)
BTG 1
Yellow-rump 2
Blackburnian 1
B&W 1
Parula 1
Yellowthroat 2
Chestnut-sided 1
Blackpoll 1
In case anyone wants to try to find it, the Kentucky was singing from the
large downed tree crown on the hill across the little stream from the tennis
courts. Unfortunately, I don?t know if it has been great in White Oaks all
week, because business required me to stay the National Conservation
Training Center in Sheppardstown, West Virginia, for the last four days
(best birds there were a LEAST FLYCATCHER and presumably breeding
GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS). On Monday, before I left, I saw my first of season
SWAINSON?S THRUSH and ACADIAN FLYCATCHER.
