Hello birders,

This morning from 10-noon I was hiking and enjoying
wildlife at Mason Neck State Park with my daughter.
We walked along the Forestmarsh trail and found at
least 3 VEERYs. They were easy to observe and 2 of
the birds walked along the trail in front of us. I
heard the call, but not the song. There were also a
number of Wood Thrushes in the area, some singing
along the same stretch of trail. There were lots of
other songbirds present.
