I got two excellent views of Baltimore Orioles today on the Noland Trail of
Mariner's Museum Park in Newport News. They were my first Baltimore
Orioles, and one was the first bird of the day, I saw them both near the
West Entrance to the trail. As for warblers, I saw a ton of Yellow-rumped,
two Ovenbirds, a Northern Parula, a Common Yellowthroat, two
Black-and-Whites, two Prothonatarys, as well as two Black-Throated Blue
Warblers. I also got an excellent look at a Wood Thrush, first of spring
for the park. A complete bird list follows.
