[va-bird] Viewable anhinga colony, 30 miles south on I-95

Last year I noticed anhingas nesting in an exposed location, about 29 miles
south of the Virginia border, on Interstate 95.
This year, the first 2 Male Anhingas were doing their wing-waving display on
18 April, but none were found on the 25th. About 20 Great Blue Heron nests,
many with young on both dates.
The colony is in a tupelo swamp about a quarter mile south of NC481, some
0.3 miles west of Interstate 95, the Enfield exit.
Area around the rookery is all logged out. Going by last year's
observations, for the next few weeks the anhingas may be on and off, but
should have as many as 10-20 adults and then maybe 3 nests with first white
and then buffy young easily visible on every trip.
Well worth a stop if you are passing by on I-95.
Birds can be id-ed with bins, but a scope is good.
