[va-bird] OLIVE SIDED F.C. at Monticello?

This afternoon, Sunday, at approx 1:45p, I heard what I thought was an
OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER at Monticello Park in Alexandria. The ID was made by
call
only which was a consistent three syllable whistle of the "quick three beers"
variety. The bird vocalized for 3 - 5 minutes and my attempts to confirm the ID
by sight fell short when a RS HAWK flew in and shut down the chorus. I was not
able to hear or see the bird after that. It was suggested that the
vocalization may have come from a WE VIREO, but to me, it was a whistle, not
"chicky"
like a WE, and again, only 3 syllables. There were other ears that heard it,
but
to my knowledge, no one saw the bird. If anyone else cares to comment with
thoughts, suggestions, please do, I know this is a stretch. If anyone visits
Monticello on Monday, please keep an eye and ear out for this one.
Other birds around Monticello this p.m included OVENBIRD, BT BLUE, BT GREEN,
REDSTART, HOODED, N. PARULA, HERMIT THRUSH, VEERY, SUMMER TANAGER, GC
FLYCATCHER and YES, JEFFERSON IS STILL DEAD...
