[va-bird] Scarlet Tanager - Roosevelt Island

Took my son (4 weeks old this Friday) on his first birding trip
yesterday (5/4/04) to Roosevelt Island, Potomac River, Washington, DC.
The highlight of the shortened trip (he got hungry) were two gorgeous
male SCARLET TANAGERs up in the treetops posing for us. Also 2 male and
1 female ROSE BREASTED GROSBEAK. Finally, either that place is just
teeming (25+) with YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERs or the same 3 or 4 followed us
around the trail for the duration of our visit.
