This morning 24 people showed up for the regular monthly (2nd Sat. of every
month) Banshee Reeks Bird Walk. We split into two groups, one led by John
Drummond and the other by Joe Coleman. Both group leaders were assisted by
several very good birders. A total of 48 species were seen.
Normally we do not get a lot of waterfowl or gulls at Banshee - this morning
was the exception w/9 waterfowl species and while the gulls were limited to
only one species, Ring-bill, there were over a 1,000 of them.
