Bobolinks are back at Bobolink Rd. At least 8 were seen
there this morning in the field across the road from the
Golf Course Clubhouse. The road is now signed Greenfield Dr.,
Rt. 673, Between Daleville and Greenfield on Rt. 200 N.
Greenfield Pond is finally being refilled, and was good for
shorebirds with 3 Western sandpipers, a single White-rumped
sandpiper, a Lesser Yellowlegs, and lots of Solitary and
Spotted sandpipers, and that was with pretty much of a
cursory look. Little passerine movement noted today.
I heard only RB Grosbeak and Ovenbird and saw nothing else,
but at Greenfield the orioles are back with a vengance and
Warbling vireos are setting up shop at the bridge.
