[va-bird] More Bobolinks in Loudoun County

Dear birders,

While bluebird monitoring at Temple Hall Farm Park north of Leesburg, I heard a
number of Bobolinks far out in the field. In the past two years I've listened
for them at this time of year, thinking it would be perfect habitat for them,
but no success until now. Delightful!

Also seen were a Kestrel, a No. Harrier trying to nab a small bird, a Pileataed
Woodpecker, Purple Martins and Tree and Barn Swallows, an Orchard Oriole male,
and, of course, Bluebirds. The White-Crowned Sparrows I saw last weekend were
not to be seen or heard.

Cheers,
Mary Ann
