[va-bird] Southwest Vienna, Monk Parakeets

Greetings all,

      After listening to hundreds of Monk Parakeets in East Norwalk 
Connecticut, on Long Island Sound's estuaries, we were surprised to hear, 
before we saw, a pair flying through Southwest Vienna this afternoon.  
Thankfully, they were louder than my neighbor's band saw!!

      The proliferation of nests and population was quickly followed by the 
denuding of many trees in that area, but the birds are fascinating.
